WORKING PROCESSES

Increasingly high-performance systems, significant investments in automation, and a rational, modern layout allow Sagom Tubi to achieve flexibility and production capacity capable of meeting high demand peaks and the most diverse customer requests in-house.

CUTTING

Sagom Tubi has a daily capacity of 40,000 cuts (automatically deburred and washed), using CNC machines.

BENDING

Sagom Tubi is capable of bending any part required by the customer, thanks to highly specialized personnel and a complete range of CNC tube bending machines with automatic loading.
Additionally, it has a production capacity of over 300,000 pieces per month and is able to work with tubes of any type of metal, from Ø 4 x 0.75 mm to Ø 40 x 2 mm.

SHAPING

Sagom Tubi spa performs any deformation and shaping at the ends of tubes: indentations, tapering, expansions, and flaring, according to customer specifications or international standards.

BREZING

Sagom Tubi has 2 controlled-atmosphere brazing furnaces for brazing carbon steel. For aluminum and its alloys, the company is equipped with an induction brazing cell and automatic flame machines.
In addition to automated systems, it has a manual flame brazing department and works with highly qualified external welders.

WELDING

Sagom Tubi assembles and welds approximately 80% of its products in-house. Additionally, there are robot cells for CMT welding and robot cells for TIG welding of every type of material. Sagom Tubi is capable of induction welding with aluminum alloy

FLEXIBLE ASSEMBLY

Within Sagom Tubi, rigid tube connections to flexible tubes are carried out for every type of application. The connections are made either by crimping sleeves or by tightening clamps, depending on the operating pressure that needs to be ensured. All connections are validated according to a qualification plan in accordance with customer specifications.

FINISHING

In the Finishing department, component assembly operations are carried out on the tubing. The components may include sheaths, clips, threaded fittings, caps, labels, and any other component required by the customer.
For automotive part series, operators are guided by vision systems with smart cameras to ensure error-proof assembly.

WASHING

The company is equipped with two washing systems, used depending on the material and the required level of cleanliness.

TESTING

Sagom Tubi has a state-of-the-art testing department for free-flow and leak tests. Tests can be conducted under pressure with air up to 10 bar, with oil up to 1500 bar, and with nitrogen up to 40 bar.
It also performs vacuum testing.
